Shipping Policy
Shipping Options:
We ship to both Canada and the USA. See our available options below:
- Free local pickup (St. John’s, NL)
- $5 UNTRACKED lettermail in Canada (at buyer’s risk), available for 1-2 pieces based on weight (if available in your cart, you can select it).
- $15 CAD flat rate within Canada
- $15 USD flat rate within USA
- Free shipping on purchases of $145 CAD / $145 USD (subtotal, after discounts) within Canada/USA respectively.
- Express rates as calculated at checkout.
Dispatch Time:
All ready-to-ship products will ship out within 1-5 business days. We strive to ship things out as soon as possible, but keep in mind that there may be a small delay during holidays.
Shipping Times & Other Info:
Please keep in mind that shipping time will vary based on your location and chosen shipping method. Slumberly is not responsible for delays due to carrier interruptions. When placing your order, please be mindful of the shipping method that you choose, as shipping time can vary greatly. If you select Canadian lettermail, please keep in mind that this is at the BUYER’S risk. We will be taking photos of the items as they ship out, but lettermail comes with no tracking number and no insurance, and therefore we cannot be held liable for any missing packages. Slumberly is not responsible for lost of stolen packages of any type once it leaves our possession, so please reach out to the Carrier directly for any concerns you may have.
Undeliverable or Refused Packages:
Please carefully select the correct address when purchasing. If a package is sent to an address and is refused or undeliverable, Slumberly ends up having to pay the postage fees to retrieve that item. As such, if this occurs and the package is sent back to us, we will refund you the total of the order minus $15 (CAD/USD, depending on your location) to account of the additional shipping charges.
If any package is refused due to duties charges, any fees incurred when shipped back to us will be deducted from any possible refund. There is a check box on the check-out page to ensure you understand the chance of incurring duties charges.
Local Pickup:
Local pickup is typically available every day netween 9am-9pm in Southlands, St. John's. Your pick-up email will provide additional details. In the event of poor weather conditions, pick-ups may be cancelled and will be outlined on our VIP Facebook Group.
Returns & Exchanges
Return & Exchange Policy
We want to provide our customers with the best quality products and offer an exceptional client experience.
Refund eligibility:
- You must request a refund within 14 days of purchase.
- Your item must be in unused condition with original packaging.
- Your item must have been purchased through Slumberly directly.
Although we stand by our quality, manufacturers defects are possible from time to time. In the event you receive something defective, please do the following:
- Take a photo of the defect.
- Send an email to support@slumberly.ca explaining the situation.
- We will provide the next steps via email for your particular situation.
Please note that exchanges/refunds must be requested within 14 days of purchase regardless of the reason (wrong size, defective, wrong item, etc.), so please check your items upon arrival. Please do not send a package to us without us authorizing you to do so.
If you’re eligible for a refund, you will be refunded within 10 business days from our receipt of your item(s). Please contact us if you have any further questions or if 10 business days have passed.
If an exchange is desired, we will happily assist with this as long as we have the item on hand.
Please note that gift cards are non-refundable.
Products 25% off and above are final sale. Seasonal prints and items may not be returned past their applicable holiday, regardless of purchase date.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that life happens and sometimes mistakes occur. If your order has not been packaged to ship or pick-up, you are eligible for a cancellation and refund if your order does not fall within the final sale criteria. Please try to contact us ASAP if a cancellation is desired. Once your package is fulfilled, we cannot cancel your order. Please note that you cannot cancel the purchase of gift cards.
Please note that we will withhold 2% of the total purchase price to assist with transaction fees we are unable to recuperate in the event of an entire order cancellation.
Materials & Caring Instructions
How do I care for my products?
In short, we recommend you wash your bamboo items delicately and without any other hard fabrics/fasteners (we recommend an exclusively bamboo laundry load if possible). Inside-out is best, and lay flat to dry. However, it is completely safe to also tumble dry your bamboo on low, it may just result in pilling more quickly.
To reduce wash wear, many newer washing machines have a "quick wash" cycle. This is also a great choice as it doesn't let the fabric soak for too long.
Note: Bright and vibrant prints should be washed alone for the first 2-3 times, and it is a good idea to separate your laundry from whites. It is also recommended that when you do wash your Slumberly items with other items, ensure the fabrics are similar and non-abrasive.
Are these products safe?
Slumberly is proud to report that we run extensive testing on our products to ensure they are safe for your little ones. We test for harmful chemicals such as phthalates and lead, and are happy to say that Slumberly is free of harmful chemicals. Additionally, although we don’t have independent OEKO-TEX certification, our manufacturer does. All fabrics with our manufacturer are OEKO-TEX certified. Our zippers are also YKK and are OEKO-TEX certified within their factory.
What type of fabric do we use?
Our current main fabric is 95% bamboo viscose and 5% spandex. We are happy to offer 220-260 GSM fabric depending on the style. Please see individual product listings.
